Michael S. Lynch has provided quality legal services and delivered excellent results for his clients for more than 35 years, including individuals, small businesses, large corporations and municipalities, all of which prepared him well for the variety of legal issues presented in his current role as General Counsel for O&G Industries.   A 1987 graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law, and a former managing partner of a medium-sized private firm, Michael formed Lynch Law Group, LLC in 2017 to provide a more personal level of legal services to his clients.  His legal work has always been driven by his belief that every client needs a strong, relentless advocate who has the legal skills and experience to handle the most difficult situations, while always looking for reasonable opportunities to efficiently resolve disputes.

Michael is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Connecticut, and was admitted to the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.  He has been recognized as a "CT SuperLawyer" for the past seven years and is consistently ranked as a top lawyer by his peers.  He has lectured in high schools and at parent forums on topics such as underage drinking, host liability, and issues relating to publications on social media.  He has also been deeply involved in Newtown and other youth sports organizations, having served as a coach, division director and executive board member in multiple sports, while assisting in the drafting and enforcement of rules, procedures, and codes of conduct for those organizations.  Michael has also chaired committees addressing coach and player disciplinary issues for multiple sports organizations.

In his spare time, Michael enjoys playing guitar, bass and piano in his bands One Level Down and Runnin' For Covers, as well as in the folk choir at St. Jude Church.  He is also an avid cyclist.
